Is Your Psychological Health in Ship Shape?
Tuesday, July 16 starting at 9 pm (EST) on BlogTalkRadio:
http://makeupdontbreakup.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=bce24f440531c0423970de1cd&id=567ab6ccd6&e=8f61629519
Did you know that you can't be physically healthy or enjoy healthy
relationships when your own psychological health isn't tip-top?
And have you also noticed that many people don't visit the doctor
until they are sick?
The same is true when it comes to psychological problems: people tend
to visit a shrink when they are already deep in the emotional ditch.
You've certainly heard the saying: a stitch in time saves nine. Well,
when it comes to physical, emotional and relationship health, an ounce
of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
So why do people drag their feet when it comes to getting that check-
up?
The reason for most people is that they are afraid of what they might
find. It is precisely the avoidance defense mechanism that explains
why millions of people drag their psychological warts and scars to the
grave--because they, too, are too frightened to look into their
psyches. Hence why Thoreau said, "The mass of men lead lives of quiet
desperation."
But how tragic to miss out on the chance to live your life fully,
basking in the joy that life and love is meant to bring!
Isn't it time that you experienced the joy that comes from shedding
all the heavy baggage--the Old Scars from childhood--that weigh you
down and destroy your life, your productivity and your relationships.
In this show, we're going to take a look at your psychological health.
I know that it takes strength and courage to take a hard look at
yourself, but oh is the payoff worth it! The good news is once you
find out what parts of yourself need a little tune-up, you are already
on the road to repair.
And just so you know, the healthier you are, the longer you are going
to live. In fact, research shows that emotional issues make us sick,
ruin our relationships and shorten our life spans. And the healthier
you are emotionally, the happier and healthier your life and
relationships are going to be.
So join me for your very own psychological check-up. And don't worry.
This check-up doesn't involve any nasty prep on your part or rubber
gloves or needles! I look forward to being with on Tuesday for this
painless and illuminating show.

In "She Wants to Marry Me and Thinks I Am The One, But..." I advise a
man whose girlfriend says that she loves him and wants to marry him
BUT because of her past relationship she feels blocked in her ability
to give him what he gives her and she feels that she's being unfair to
him. He wants to know what he can do to get her unstuck. Join me as I
give him the blueprint for how to proceed.
In "Is This a Lesson in Futility?" I assist a woman in her 50s who is
dating a man that she is very comfortable with. The only problem is
the fact that he disappears after they get close. And she has to do
all the pursuing to get him back. She is aware that he is insecure
because he asks her questions like does she ever wonder if she'll find
him boring later on. She wants to know if chasing and reassuring him
will help him come around or simply make her appear needy. Join me as
unravel the mystery of this love impasse. The clue to solving this
mystery rests with understanding HER own insecurity.
In "My Parents and My Boyfriend," I help a young woman whose parents
have banned her from seeing her boyfriend. She is hurt, confused and
alone. Join me as I help her find the way out of this dark tunnel.
